We evaluated the influence of the IL8 T-738A (nonidentified rs), IL8 T-353A (rs4073), IL17A G197A (rs2275913), and IL17F T7488C (rs763780) single-nucleotide polymorphisms on leprosy.
The objective of this study was to investigate the association, if any, between the interleukin-17F (7488T>C) (rs763780) polymorphism and susceptibility to leprosy and to elucidate the relationship between IL-17F genotypes and clinical profile of the disease.
