<b>Conclusion</b>: The results of this meta-analysis suggested that Bsm1, Taq1 and Cdx-2 polymorphism may contribute to lung cancer susceptibility, more studies need be conducted to confirm in the future.
We stained tissue microarrays from resected primary lung cancer (n = 665) and pulmonary metastases (n = 425) for CK7, CK20, CDX2, CK5, p40, p63, TTF-1, napsin A, GATA3, and PAX8 to systematically assess the diagnostic value of these markers.
The first aim of our study was to examine the association between common variants in VDR [rs2228570 (FokI), rs1544410 (BsmI), rs7975232 (ApaI), rs731236 (TaqI) and rs11568820 (Cdx2)] and lung cancer risk in the Polish population.
