This study aimed to investigate the ameliorating effect of an ethyl acetate fraction from the fruit Actinidia arguta (EFAA) on amyloid beta (Aβ)-induced neurotoxicity and cognitive deficits in ICR mice.
<i>In vivo</i> studies confirmed that <b>2f</b> significantly ameliorated the cognitive disorders in scopolamine-treated ICR mice and less hepatotoxicity than tacrine.
The aim of the current study was to find out the role of CysLT1R on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced cognitive deficit and neurotoxicity. shRNA-mediated knockdown or pharmacological blockade (by pranlukast) of CysLT1R were performed in ICR mice for 21days prior to systemic infusion of LPS.
