The 2012-2016 American College of Surgeons - National Surgical Quality Improvement (ACS-NSQIP) database was queried using Current Procedural Terminology codes 22800, 22802, and 22804 to identify patients undergoing posterior spinal fusion for neuromuscular scoliosis only.
Patients enrolled in the ACS-NSQIP registry between 2012 and 2013 who underwent cervical or lumbar spinal fusion with either allograft or autograft through a separate incision were included for analysis.
We retrospectively reviewed the ACS-NSQIP registry utilizing Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes 22612, 22558, 22630, and 22633 to identify all patients undergoing a single level spinal fusion.
We used the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS-NSQIP) database to retrospectively identify all patients who underwent a lumbar spinal fusion from 2006 to 2013.
