Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis of the scFv-immunoprecipitated proteins has led to identification of c-Met, HSP90 α and HSP90 β as candidate biomarkers associated with diffuse GC.
Ectopic expression of Hsp90ab1 promoted the proliferation and metastasis of GC cells both in vitro in cell line models of GC and in vivo using two different xenograft mouse models, while opposite effects were observed in Hsp90ab1 silenced cells.
The expression rates of HSP90 beta in well differentiated, moderately differentiated, poorly differentiated gastric cancer and mucinous carcinoma were 15.38%, 31.25%, 33.33%, and 42.85% respectively.
