Co-stimulation of IL-6 and IGF-1 resulted in significantly enhanced in cell proliferation, (p < .05), invasion (p < .05), cycle (p < .05), apoptosis (p < .05), and the expression of signal molecules (GP130, IGF-1R, p-AKT, and p-ERK1/2) (all p < .05) in NSCLC cells.
Among these genes, TNFSF11, IL6ST, and EPAS1 play important roles in cytokine-receptor interaction, which is the most enriched pathway related to lymphovascular invasion.
The expression of gp130 was significantly correlated with T classification, N classification and TNM stage (P = 0.003, P < 0.001 and P < 0.001, respectively; T, N, TNM refers to Tumor Invasion, Regional lymph node metastasis and Tumor Node Metastasis, respectively).
