Integrin β6 (ITGB6), an epithelial-specific integrin, is upregulated in oral squamous cell carcinomas (OSCC) and is associated with progression and metastasis of OSCC.
Here, we designed the Integrinβ6 target immunoliposomes for highly efficient and selective delivery of β6-siRNA in colon cancer, which consequently resulted in greatly growth suppression, invasion and metastasis of colon cancer cells.
