The photodynamic therapy results (using red LED as light source (630nm; power density: 30mWcm-2)) show that the cancer cell killing efficiency of MB increases in the combination with SA due to reduction prevention and stabilization of monomeric form of MB.
The purpose of this study was to investigate whether LED light at different wavelengths affects the expression profile of 143 cancer predisposition genes in both diabetic and normal human fibroblasts.
This study further demonstrated that targeting of the altered RARβ₂-led gene pathway could effectively suppress the development of this deadly type of cancer.
