The dCTP pyrophosphatase 1 (dCTPase) is a nucleotide pool "housekeeping" enzyme responsible for the catabolism of canonical and noncanonical nucleoside triphosphates (dNTPs) and has been associated with cancer progression and cancer cell stemness.
