Increased expression of Derlin-1 is correlated with lymph node metastasis, advanced clinical stage, and unfavorable overall survival in two cohorts containing over 1,000 patients.
We found that the expression of Derlin-1 was positively associated with lymph node metastasis, clinical stage and recurrence in our SCCHN patients' samples.
Positive expression of Derlin-1 was significantly correlated with tumor stage, histological grade, and lymph node metastasis (P < 0.001) but was not correlated with other clinicopathological parameters including patient age (P = 0.758) and gender (P = 0.831).
