These results indicate that PVT1 could promote metastasis and proliferation of colon cancer via suppressing miR-30d-5p/RUNX2 axis, which may offer a new way for interpreting the mechanism of colon cancer development.
This study aims to elucidate the effects of ethanol extracts of LT (ELT) relative to the role of Runt-related transcription factor- (Runx-) 2 in the invasive and metastatic potentials of mouse colon cancer to determine the underlying mechanisms involved.
The antibacterial activity and the cytotoxic effects of the SNPs on the human lung carcinoma (A549), mouse colon carcinoma (CT26), Caco-2, and human fibroblast (CCD-986sk) cells were tested.
This study aimed to evaluate the cell growth inhibition activity of açai (Euterpe oleracea Mart.) polyphenolic extract against colon cancer HT-29 and SW-480 cells and the nonmalignant CCD-18Co colon fibroblast cells.
In addition, RUNX2 LI was significantly associated with adverse clinical outcome of the colon carcinoma patients, and turned out an independent prognostic factor following multivariate analysis.
