Overexpression of B-cell lymphoma 2-associated athanogene 3 (BAG3) reduced O 2•- levels in hypoxic WT and Tg26 myocytes back to normal.
It has been demonstrated that the anti-apoptotic protein B-cell lymphoma-2-associated athanogene 3 (BAG3) is induced by proteasome inhibitors in various cancer cells and serves an important role in chemotherapy resistance.
To investigate the roles of B‑cell lymphoma‑2 associated athanogene 3 (BAG3) in human chondrosarcoma and the potential mechanisms, the expression levels of BAG3 were detected in the present study, and the associations between BAG3 and clinical pathological parameters, clinical stage as well as the survival of patients were analyzed.
