MEG3 over-expression suppressed cell viability, colony formation, cell invasion and migration of PC3 cells in vitro and inhibited tumorigenesis of PC3 cells in vivo, while EN2 over-expression diminished the effects.
In summary, all the results obtained from this study indicated that MEG3 plays a promoting role in the tumorigenesis and angiogenesis of lung adenocarcinoma, which deserves special attention when considered as a potential therapeutic target for lung adenocarcinoma.
